Mario Strikers: Battle League Football's new overview

I am a huge fan of the Mario soccer games and have been waiting for a new part for years. Accordingly, I was euphoric when Nintendo announced Mario Striker: Battle League Football. Because that brings the proven concept of the two predecessors to the Switch.

Now Nintendo has published the English-language variant of the overview trailer for the game and thus allows a detailed look at the game. And after watching the trailer several times, I'm hotter than ever.

On the one hand, I am extremely excited to see how much the items, with which you can equip the kickers, affect the actual feeling of play. And on the other hand, how long it takes to get used to the somewhat unusual-but quite suitable-comic graphics style.

Tobi thinks that far too few fun football games appear today. Because they are always good for a loose round and ensure a nice contrast compared to the realism strongholds FIFA and PES or now efootball. His absolute favorite in this area: Sega Soccer Slam.

ten characters at the start are not well received by everyone

In any case, I hope for a similarly relaxed and fun play feeling as in the predecessors, already there are hard tackling and the unstoppable super shots-which of course have to be well teased-a lot of fun and numerous revenge parts. There will be a total of ten playable characters, but this number was not particularly well received by everyone:

Mario Strikers: Battle League – Overview Trailer – Nintendo Switch

I don't find the selection outstanding, after all, with Toad, one of my absolute Nintendo favorites is there. The trailer focuses on the online or club features, hopefully there will also be a few information about the offline modes, because a lack of tournaments, for example, would be extremely a shame. The release of Mario Strikers: Battle League Football is on June 10, 2022, the game appears exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

How do you like the overview trailer?
