Original text too short.
In February 2022 ARK will be released, but former developers of EX Die game also have an action MMO in the pipeline. Unitecember (PC, Android, IOS) is the name of the Hack'n'Slay Game and starts in the first quarter 2022.
What is December? The game with the somewhat strange name is a classic Hack'n'Slay-MMO. It is reminiscent of Diablo IV and Path of Exile at first glance. The title comes from the South Korean team of Need Games, which, among other things, work former developers of the Action-Kracher Lost Ark.
December relies on a very gloomy atmosphere and in many places already partially scary. But you can see the game already after a few seconds, on which role models it is oriented.
In Unternecember, no MMORPG awaits you, but an MMO in the sense of Path of Exile or Diablo. With Lost Ark, the game has less to do, even if it brings a few more MMORPG mechanics as a POE.
Which features are in it? December connects classic Hack'n'Slay mechanics with some MMORPG features and sets the following systems:
ISO perspective with action-packed fighting Hub areas where you can trade with other players and chatting. In the maps you are then, as with Path of Exile, only with your group Dungeons, RAIDS and PVP Borg December at the MMORPGs
A classless character system with extensive skill tree A rune system, which determines about your active skills The grind after ever better equipment is the focus Successful animations of experienced developers who have worked on Lost Ark and Lineage 2 Revolution
Thanks to Free2play everyone can try it easy Cross platform possibilities
Gameplay you can see in this video:
When can you gamble? Originally December already appeared in 2021, but the appointment had to be moved as so many others. Now the game appears on January 13 in South Korea and shortly thereafter in the rest of the world.
The global release is announced for the first quarter of 2022, but there is no exact date yet. You can play on the PC via Steam and on the mobile terminals with iOS or Android.
December only has an English language output, but offers at least all texts in German.
The first reactions are mixed
What is the mood around the game? The global release of Universecember came surprisingly for many people and is a lot of fans positive. However, the general tenor on Reddit is grown through.
This is mainly because many in December will see a mobile game ported to the PC. Whether the development took place so actually, we can not judge at this point.
Nevertheless, there are also some voices looking forward to the game and would like to look in if it appeared.
What do the fans say? In the different Reddit threads on the topic are comments in partly mixed mood:
The User Sinners Premiere writes (via Reddit): A mobile game has a heavy stand in this genre, it reminds me very much about Diablo Immortal. Ciplakindeded1 writes: The game looks really cool, but what's going on? They could just have been able to call January. Stunning-Tea joins and says, If you feel like you want to try a Mobile Diablo game, you're lucky. December is just right for you.
