New World: Server Transfer moves again

New World wanted to offer a character transfer from the 17th of October, but now nothing becomes. The developers move the transfer once again a good week. Meinmmo explains the current state of things.

That s why: In the first days after the release of New World, the game fought with endless long queues. To counteract the problem, you opened many more servers. So that you can soon play together with your friends, New World will spend free server transfers for your character.

Many players and even entire companies (the guilds in New World) are already waiting for you to change the server.

As we had already reported, New World wanted to unlock the free server change this weekend for all players. But now the developers write in the official forum that the transfer will be moved again.

Server change in New World once again postponed, should come in a week

When is the server change? The developers have updated their post in the New World Forum and explain that the server change is moved (via Forum.newworld.com).

We have tested the last parts of the server transmission system and are ready, but we have made the difficult decision to reset it until next week.

In your post, the developers explain that you do not release the function as the problems would cause. So there may be failures or it would rule an imbalance on the servers or get wars (the important PVP element in the game) could not be coordinated.

In the future, however, you want to provide the players more details how the transfers work and what the developers have learned from the function about the game.

Is there an exact date? No, an accurate date did not call the developers, the function should be unlocked at some point coming week. If we learn more details, you will find them directly here with us on Meinmmo.

In the patch notes to New World from October 6, the team had written that the feature for the server change should be activated in the week to the 10th. But due to technical difficulties, the release was now postponed one week back to the 17th of October. Now the team moves this appointment again by about a week.
